Amanda Johnstone is a Qualified, Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor, with 10 years experience and has devised an original and fun approach to Pilates, offering classes in Fife and Edinburgh.
Classes are booked in blocks of 8 as it takes a minimum of 8 weeks for the body to begin to learn the new habits required to develop better posture and a lifetime to maintain them!
In a nutshell, SIMPLY PILATES teaches you how to align your body, using your muscles in the way they were designed to be used, rather than the way they have learned to be used.
Over the weeks you will develop strength, mobility, balance, posture and flexibility. You will also experience improvements in self confidence, self esteem and self awareness, resulting in a new zest for life.
All classes are one hour and are suitable for all fitness levels
Class sizes are restricted to allow you the attention needed
Classes are booked in 8 week blocks, costing £72, payable in advance, 2 Classes per week £137, 3 Classes per week £205.
Missed classes can be made up by attending another class within the same block, where a place is available
All equipment is provided, including mats
Wear loose comfortable clothing (no denim) without buttons or zips to allow ease of movement. Either go barefoot or wear socks
